Frozen in disbelief, embracing waves of despair. I try to reach, through this breach. I whine, I complain.
An Impossible balance. I have to maintain. While you write me off with such disdain.
I try to adjust, my efforts to move. I struggle, I fall, and then I break.
To no avail, my attempts fail. Then I realize it’s been so long, I’ve been so wrong. I’ve been carrying it around my neck.
Unlearn my love, erase those memories, delete those photos, block my path, remove me from my track.
Bury me with your riches, rebuild those bridges. I am never coming back
Of hopes & February, our concealing fate, this stinking mess, you did not create,
For this impatient wait, the day is done, the sun has set. Your moon now dead. You’ll shiver in cold I’ll die in regret.
I think I’ve gotten frost bite just reading this. It’s ugly, cold and painful, yet is beautifully expressed. A dark heart in desperate need of some light. I hope the sun rises again.
Good work.

You are a writer yourself so you should know that. This is how we deal with our situations. We do have that in common.
Thank you Tapasi, Im glad you could relate to it, but again I feel bad that was relatable. Im sorry to learn that you are going through it 😦

Yes I wrote it to that certain person. Everything I wrote here is real. Not telling that I am right of course every story has 2 sides. I haven’t exaggerated anything here on this poem.

Hmm…understand its painful, though I probably can’t feel the depth of your pain as only you know what you must be going through….. but just try to let go, it’ll not happen in one day, but keep practicing….(again some unsolicited advice, hope you won’t mind)

Once again so much depth and so much feelings! Each of your poems just straight out touches the heart, pierces the heart, I’d rather say.
You’ll shiver in cold I’ll die in regret – really amazed at how these words just come to you. I think I know how it does though….

Hey Neel, this is an old one. The line you quoted, unfortunately is the poetic representation of the my current situation. Such things comes just like that when you’re going through something like in the poem. Thank you for visiting again.
