True North

Fate
Darkness, inherent design,
Unaffected by the sands of time.

Dreams
Free like a bird,
Unweathered and untethered.

Future
Shrouded in mystery,
Towards destiny,
Some steps disagree.

Love
From the evergreen hills of lust
Still frozen like mountains between us.

Present
The needles swing, back and forth.
And I wonder,
What is my true north?

      1. Im flattered, is it as cool as the lilttle things you paint? Im just kidding. Haha. Nobody takes your photos when you are the one taking photos, luckily i found this candid shot. And since I had not expected any photo of me. I was happy to see myself on one of the photos. Later when my co-worker, the one who I was backing up for photos, shared his shots. I found that I was wrong. I was there hanging around in some of his shots. It was such a crazy day/event. But it went well.

      2. It looks like it went well!!! And yes, Your pic earns a superdeluxeextraspecial cool award from this corner of Your peanut gallery. 😄 I’ve always been the same way. Take pictures some but very little of myself. I’m actually bad at taking pictures, period. So is Bill. But miracle of miracles….same as this one….once in a while someone will shoot us something they shot! I’m happy You found Yourself in there here and there and that all went well! Cheers!!!
